SALAR

Salar is a thoughtfully designed 85 m² apartment located in the vibrant Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona. The space beautifully merges traditional charm with modern elements, reflecting the energy of the surrounding urban environment. The design incorporates exposed brick walls and original hydraulic tile floors, which are paired with stunning Catalan vaulted ceilings—features that give the space a sense of history while allowing for a contemporary, fresh look.

Colourful floor tiles became a nod to the apartment’s unique character, while the clean white walls serve as a perfect backdrop for bold design choices. The integration of black metal accents, such as the statement neon dining lamp, adds a dynamic edge that contrasts with the softer elements of the space. This balance of old and new is carried throughout the apartment, creating a harmonious blend of the classic and the modern.

Natural wood finishes in the furniture and decor enhance the space’s warmth, while the neutral color palette keeps the design serene and sophisticated.
