DEISIS APARTMENT INTERIOR DESIGN

Deisis is one of our more vibrant apartments, located in the Sant Pere, Santa Caterina neighborhood of Barcelona, within an original 19th-century building. The apartment includes 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and stands out for its generous natural light, high ceilings, and preserved original wooden beams, which define the character of the space.

The design builds on the apartment’s historic structure while introducing a more vibrant and contemporary language. Custom-made panels and some of the furniture were designed specifically for the project, allowing us to play with form, color, and rhythm throughout the space. Black elements are used as a visual anchor, framing areas and adding contrast without overpowering the interiors.

Color plays a central role in the apartment design. A carefully balanced palette of greens and yellows, combined with softer, muted tones, brings energy and movement to the interior while keeping the spaces comfortable and easy to live in. This approach creates a dynamic atmosphere that still feels relaxed and welcoming.

For us it was a special project and an example of a sunny and spacious home where historic details, bold color choices, and custom solutions come together naturally.
