BALAI

Balai is a very special interior design project where rustic charm meets refined elegance. It's a 105 m² , two-bedrooms apartment located in Eixample neighborhood in Barcelona. This apartment exudes sophistication through its traditional exposed brick Catalan ceilings, original floors and windows with unique artisanal carpentry. Having such an impressive setting, our design aimed to harmoniously fuse sophistication and serenity without overwhelming the eye. We've meticulously curated each element to honor the space's authenticity, from custom-made furniture to preserving its tranquil ambiance.

The use of soft neutral tones and natural textures brings warmth to the space, while carefully selected furniture pieces provide functionality and visual interest. The main feature is the use of natural rustic wood - it becomes a coherent element across the spaces that grounds and balances the design. In the bedrooms, we incorporated soft lighting and calming tones, creating peaceful retreats. .

The Balai project demonstrates how combining modern elegance with a touch of country can result in a comfortable and beautiful home. It is a space that is at once functional, beautiful, and personal.
